Some people have a habit of chewing on things that can be harmful to their oral health. This can be anything from pen caps to fingernails. Biting on things other than food and using your teeth as tools can cause damage to your tooth enamel and lead to issues such as cracked, chipped, and broken teeth. Many people are surprised to learn that one of the most harmful things you can chew on is ice. In addition to breaking your teeth, chewing on ice can lead to issues with tooth sensitivity.
