As Dr. Kelly explains, our office is considered out-of-network. However, we are always happy to help our patients with PPO plans file insurance claims, and we will advocate for you when necessary. One of the biggest concerns with in-network dental care is that providers are often limited in the treatments they can offer their patients. Insurance companies dictate which treatments are covered, which can limit a dentist’s ability to provide the best care. Instead, insurance typically covers more inexpensive options.
We believe that you and your provider should decide what’s best for your oral health—not the insurance company. Our dentists and team have years of training and expertise in this field. We know which treatments will benefit your current and future oral health. Unfortunately, when insurance companies determine coverage, the chosen treatment may need to be repeated or may not last as long as other, better options.
